Three more weeks in 2008! New Darebin program planned for Jan 09

There are 3 more weeks to go in the first FFV Social Football program. We are still looking for new people to come down and have a kick. So far over 101 people have tried social football for at least 1 week with many returning each week and having a lot of fun.

Please note that games will now be scheduled at 7pm only due to a lack of numbers at 8pm so please arrive from 6:30pm onwards.

FFV would like to thank City of Darebin for their continued support of the program, the volunteers who have and will continue to assist with the program and all participants who have so far participated. The program will continue to run every Wednesday night up until the 10th of December and FFV and City of Darebin hope to see not only the same people back each week but to see new people embracing the sport.

Games run for approx 40mins and are played on a smaller pitch for 7 v 7 games with no goalkeepers, encouraging an open and fun game where everyone can get involved. The beauty of social football is that to participate you don’t need to form a team. As people register and sign in each week they are allocated a pitch and put into teams by the game leader so each week you will be playing with and against new people. Details are below:
